Our Objectives
- To provide substantive analytical inputs for environment, natural resources, climate change, disaster resilient and sustainable development contemporary issues through rigorous research, training and dissemination of findings.
- To conduct action/applied research on climate change, water resources, biodiversity and wildlife and development activities on the contemporary issues related to the national development and advancement of society.
- To carry out research and consultancy services on forest resources, agriculture, biodiversity and environmental management issues.
- To provide advisory and consultancy services for enterprise and business promotion in community and national level.
- To study climate change issues and its impact at local level to mitigate and adapt negative impact of climate change in Nepal and regional/global network.
- To explore and analyze disaster and resilient issues to support Nepal’s efforts in disaster management and disaster resiliency.
- To study on green economy issues, strategic/environmental impact assessment and capacity development issues in contributing sustainable development in Nepal.
