The training aimed to: strengthen Nepal’s representation in the COP29 by Equipping delegates with skill in climate diplomacy, negotiation strategies, and the technical language of the UNFCCC process.
The event Enhanced the understanding of critical thematic areas, including climate finance, adaptation, loss, and damage mechanisms, ensuring Nepal’s commitment to bringing the voices of youth, women, children, and indigenous peoples into global climate discussions. Particularly, delegates shared their common commitments to amplify Nepal’s voice as it prepares to advocate for mountain issues, secure climate finance, and champion the New Collective Quantified Goal (NCQGs) for a fair and resilient future.
